DRAGON WINGS™ BONDED ALUMINUM COMPOSITE ROTOR BLADES,
THE GOLD STANDARD IN SPORT ROTARY-WING INDUSTRY FOR 34 YEARS.

Dragon Wings were developed by Ernie Boyette a well known and respected member of the gyrocopter community. Ernie Boyette personally tested every rotor set manufactured for the past 30 years before passing on the torch to Luminati Aerospace.

Dragon wings are specified as standard on many iconic factory kits of helicopters and gyrocopters.

Our construction consists of a precision aluminum leading edge extrusion, married to bonded top and bottom skins with an internal spar. The bonding process was developed by NASA for bonding skins in fighter jets  & military helos.  With 34 years of performance and safety, Dragon Wings are the most proven rotor design in the sport rotorcraft world.

Dragon Wings are tip weighted for high inertia, while remaining light weight. They are constructed with a proprietary non linear positive twist of 5.8 degrees. This precision detail increases top speed while delaying downwind blade stall.

A critical detail of excellence on Dragon Wings is the airfoil. It is proprietary and is not used by any other manufacture in the world.

This airfoil was developed over thousands of hours of refinement. Other manufactures use a 8H12, developed in the late 1940's.

DRAGONWINGS™ has produced over 2500 sets of blades to date.
Used on more than 150 models of helicopters and gyrocopters.
 
Available in 7” cord for vehicles under 1200 lbs. gross, and 8.5” cord for heavier vehicles. Disk diameters from 22 – 28’.
